Jake ! When I read your law - 'When you starve with a tiger, the tiger starves last.', I couldn't stop my mind from thinking about a book - The life of Pi - by Yann Martel. Read it 2 years ago - it is a moderately paced novel about a kid who leaves pondicherry in a boat to the states, with a couple of animals with them (the kids dad is a zoo owner). Everyone else dies, but the kid and a tiger. The rest of the story is how they reach mainland without either of them dying. Read it if you get a chance !
